The "Health Lighting Testing and Evaluation Standards" have been officially released

According to the requirements of the "Notice on Issuing the Plan for Formulating and Revising the Second Batch of Association Standards in 2020" (Jian Biao Xie Zi [2020] No. 23) issued by the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, the "Health Lighting Testing and Evaluation Standard" led by China Construction Research Institute Jianke Environmental Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Tongji University has been approved for publication after being reviewed by the Association's Professional Committee on Building Environment and Energy Conservation, with the number T/CECS 1365-2023, Effective from December 1, 2023.

　　This standard is the first in China to evaluate and inspect health lighting projects. Based on the six major indicator systems of visual comfort, physical and mental improvement, work efficiency improvement, convenient control, energy conservation and environmental protection, and high-quality service, health lighting evaluation helps designers improve their level of lighting environment design, truly implement health lighting applications, and improve the quality of people's work, study, and life. At the same time, the proposal of supporting testing methods has further increased the operability of the implementation of this standard. The implementation of this standard will greatly improve the quality of the lighting environment, which is of great significance for guiding the rational development of healthy lighting practices and implementing the "Healthy China 2030" strategy.
